This piece is from a project in which I was challenged to strictly use type to illustrate the meaning behind a quote. The quote I chose was “An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind” by Mahatma Gandhi. I designed a visual representation for this quote by creating an animation of two eyes battling one another, but in the end ultimately neither eye was victorious. As Ghandi believed, you cannot end violence with violence.
